What's Happening

Music Ministry at Paris Presbyterian Church
This fall, by expanding the opportunities for involvement, we are anticipating more musicians (singers and instrumentalists), in the following areas of music ministry:
Children’s Choir: (K – Gr.3) -    Beginning Sunday, Sept. 26 -    Practices from10:00 a.m. – 10:20 a.m.
Youth Band: (Jr – Sr) -    Beginning Sunday, Sept. 12 -    Practices from7 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Praise Team: -    Beginning Thursday, Sept. 9 -    Practices from7:15 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Choir: -    Beginning Wednesday, Sept. 8 -    Practices from7:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
If you have a desire to grow and minister throughy  our musical gifting, please call Chuck Milke, Worship Co-ordinator, at the church office or 619-756-8796.

Sunday, Sept. 19: Women’s Gathering in May 2011
Information Lunch, in our church diningroom for women interested in attending the National Presbyterian Women's Gathering May 20-23, 2011 in Richmond Hill at the Convention Centre. Those registering before Nov. 15 can deduct $100 and are entered in draw for free registration. Also, by sharing hotel rooms the cost can be cut considerably. Our WMS auxiliary has some sponsorship monies available and wish to send several young women. For info check with Joyce Bawcutt, Jill Rickwood or Shirley Miller

7:00 pm Fidelis Guild meets the first Monday of most months at the church between September to June. Contact Darlene Edwards or Elaine Brown.

Tuesdays:
7:00 pm Session meets every first Tuesday of the month.

Wednesdays:
(If you have items for the weekly Bulletin, please have them in the office by noon!)

7:30 pm Board of Managers Meeting (every 3rd Wednesday of the month)
7:15pm Praise Team practice
7:30pm Choir Practice

Thursdays:
10:00am Telfer Place Service at Telfer Place
5:30pm Community Dinner held every last Thursday of the month
7:00pm Helen Young Auxiliary (meet the second Thursday of every month) Meetings are in the afternoon during winter.

Fridays:
9:00am Meals on Wheels

Sundays
9:15am Praise Team practise
9:30am Prayer Service in Choir room
10:30am Worship Service
10:30am Sunday School and Nursery
5:00pm Youth Band practice

7:00pm Mosh Pit  (Teens youth group)
